Western Railway Introduces Summer Special Train between Indore and Howrah


Western Railway has announced the operation of a Summer Special Train on special fare between Indore and Howrah to accommodate the extra rush of passenger traffic.

According to Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Train No.09335/09336, the Indore - Howrah Superfast Special, will commence its journey from Indore on Friday, 3rd May, 2024 at 22:30 hrs, reaching Howrah at 06:00 hrs on Sunday. Similarly, the return journey from Howrah to Indore, Train No. 09336, will depart on Sunday, 5th May, 2024 at 17:40 hrs, arriving in Indore at 00:50 hrs on Tuesday.

En route, the train will make stops at various stations including Dewas, Ujjain, Shujalpur, and Barddhaman, among others, in both directions.

The train will offer AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class Coaches to passengers for their convenience.

This initiative aims to facilitate comfortable travel for passengers during the summer season and alleviate the strain on regular train services.
