Mumbai, August 16, 2024: Western Railway has announced a Jumbo Block on both UP and DOWN Fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations this Sunday, August 18, 2024. The block, which will last for five hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment.
During the block period, all Fast line suburban trains will be diverted to the Slow line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. Passengers are advised to expect some delays as a result. Additionally, some suburban services will be canceled, and a few trains on the Andheri-Borivali route will be operated only up to Goregaon on the Harbour line.
