Mumbai, 23rd August 2024: Western Railway will undertake a jumbo block on both UP and DOWN slow lines between Borivali and Goregaon stations for track, signalling, and overhead equipment maintenance. The block will be in effect for five hours, from 10:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on Sunday, 25th August 2024.
According to a press release issued by Shri Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, all UP and DOWN slow line trains will be diverted to operate on the UP and DOWN fast lines between Borivali and Goregaon during this period. As a result, some suburban services will be cancelled, and certain Andheri and Borivali trains will only run up to Goregaon on the Harbour line.
Commuters are advised that platforms 01, 02, 03, and 04 at Borivali station will not be in use during the block period. Passengers are encouraged to check with the concerned Station Masters for detailed information. The list of cancelled trains will be available at the Station Master’s office.
