In an incident earlier today, a trolley from the Panvel 56 local train derailed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Platform No. 2 around 11:35 AM. According to CSMT HQ, there have been no reported injuries to passengers. However, the incident has resulted in disruptions along the Harbour Line services, causing inconvenience to commuters.
In response to the derailment, trains bound for CSMT will now terminate at Masjid station until further notice. Nevertheless, Harbour Line services remain operational between Vadala and other destinations, albeit with potential delays.
Railway personnel are actively engaged in restoring Harbour Line services to full functionality, while ensuring that Main Line services remain unaffected. Passengers are advised to stay updated on the latest developments and to plan their journeys accordingly.
