Mumbai, October 18, 2024 – The Western Railway has announced that several trains will be affected due to a scheduled block between Udvada and Vapi stations, as well as Atul and Valsad stations. The block will take place on specific dates: October 21, 22, and 24, and November 1, 4, 8, 9, and 11, 2024. This measure is necessary for the launch of a Bow String Girder for the construction of a Road Over Bridge in the Mumbai Central Division.
According to a press release from Shri Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the block will affect the UP and Down Main Combined Line, leading to the short-term termination and cancellation of certain train services.
