Mumbai: In a shocking incident at a posh residential complex in Mumbai’s Mira Road, a man driving a black SUV allegedly tried to run over security guards after they stopped him from entering the premises. The incident, which occurred around 11 AM on Tuesday at ‘JP North’ society, was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral.
The footage shows the SUV ramming into a group of guards, reversing, and then smashing into the guard cabin. The vehicle then reverses again before accelerating towards more people standing near the entrance. The accused, identified as Kashish Gupta, is currently on the run. Two other passengers were in the car with him at the time of the incident.
A separate mobile video, shot by a security guard, recorded Gupta allegedly abusing the guards and issuing threats before the attack. "Tell them to fall in line. They have no idea what I can do," he was heard saying before driving the SUV toward the guards blocking the gate.
Local police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace Gupta. Further investigation is underway.
