Mumbai, Shivaji Nagar August 14, 2024 - Sheikh Muhammad Siraj, a prominent community leader, delivered a powerful message of unity and patriotism today, calling on citizens to honor the sacrifices of India's brave soldiers as the nation prepares to celebrate Independence Day.


In his address, Sheikh Siraj reminded the public of the significance of Shivaji Nagar Chowk, a place that has stood for over a decade as a symbol of the nation's resilience and pride. This Shivaji Nagar Chowk has been with us for 12 years now, and it remains a testament to the honor and bravery of our Shaheed Jawans," he said.


He urged everyone to gather on the morning of August 15th at 10:00 AM for the flag hoisting ceremony. "We salute the Shaheeds who have laid down their lives for this country. It is our duty to remember them and to stand united, regardless of our religion," he emphasized, adding, "We are Muslims, but we are also proud Indians, and we will always remain so."


Sheikh Siraj also addressed concerns about the unity of the community, stating, "Some may have doubts that our resolve will weaken, but I assure you, it will only grow stronger. We will continue to work towards the betterment of our nation, and no one can break our spirit."


He concluded his speech by expressing his deep pride in being an Indian and reaffirming his commitment to the nation. "We are ready to be martyrs for our country if needed, and this Independence Day, we stand united as one."
