For essential maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment, a 5-hour Jumbo Block is scheduled on UP & DOWN SLOW lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations, from 10:00 to 15:00 on Sunday, August 13th, 2023.
As per an official statement from Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, all SLOW line suburban trains will temporarily operate on the FAST line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations throughout the block period.
During this time, SLOW suburban services will not make stops at Vile Parle & Ram Mandir stations in both directions, due to platform unavailability on the fast lines. Consequently, passengers can travel in the opposite direction for their destinations between Vile Parle & Ram Mandir stations.
A selection of suburban trains will be cancelled during the block, and a few Borivali-bound trains will terminate at Goregaon station.
