Mumbai, September 3: President Draupadi Murmu touched down at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport today at 1:05 PM, arriving on an Indian Air Force aircraft. She was warmly welcomed by Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of hospitality. The airport reception also saw the presence of several prominent political figures, including Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Mumbai City Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar, and Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.

The welcome delegation extended beyond the political sphere, featuring high-ranking officials such as Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, Additional Secretary Rajesh Kumar Meena, and Bhushan Gagrani, Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Also in attendance were Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla, Major General Vikramdeep Singh, Air Commander Shaji Poonore, and Commissioner of Police Mumbai Vivek Phansalkar. Senior officers from the Royal Etiquette and Police Department were also present to mark the occasion.

Following her arrival, President Murmu departed for Chaityabhoomi, where she is scheduled to participate in a series of events. The visit underscores the importance of Maharashtra in the President's engagements, highlighting her commitment to connecting with diverse regions across the country.
