The Western Railway's planned maintenance work between Borivali and Bhayandar stations on Sunday, August 20, 2023, will only affect the night block. The maintenance activities, which include track, signaling, and overhead equipment work, will be conducted on the UP Slow lines and DOWN Fast lines from 00:40 hrs to 04:40 hrs. Shri Sumit Thakur, the Chief Public Relations Officer, Western Railway, has announced that during this maintenance block, all UP Slow line trains will operate on the UP Fast lines between Virar/Vasai Road and Borivali. Similarly, all DOWN Fast line trains will use the DOWN Slow lines between Goregaon and Vasai Road/Virar stations. It's important to note that this block will not affect daytime operations on the Western Railway suburban section on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
