Mumbai, November 30, 2024: Western Railway (WR) has announced that there will be no day block on Sunday, December 1, 2024, on its suburban section. However, a night block will be carried out for maintenance work on the Down Slow line between Marine Lines and Mahim stations.
The block will take place during the intervening night of November 30 and December 1, from 12:15 AM to 4:15 AM. Maintenance work will include repairs to tracks, overhead wires, and signaling equipment.
During this time, all Down Slow trains will run on the Down Fast line between Churchgate and Mahim stations. As a result, these trains will not stop at Mahalaxmi, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi, Matunga Road, and Mahim stations due to platform issues.
Passengers traveling during the night hours are advised to plan their journey in advance. WR is conducting this work to ensure better service and safety for all commuters.
