A Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken on UP and Down Fast lines between Borivali and Bhayandar station from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs on the intervening nights of Saturday and Sunday, i.e., September 23rd and 24th, 2023, to carry out maintenance work on tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment. According to a press statement released by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, all fast-line trains would be run on slow lines between Virar/Vasai Road and Borivali station during the block time. Some Up and DN suburban trains will remain cancelled due to the blockage. As a result, on Sunday, September 24, 2023, there will be no block in daytime over the Western Railway Suburban section.
