Highlights Escalating Caste and Racial Divide Under Modi's Rule
In response to the distressing incident reported by media involving a teacher in Muzaffarnagar instructing other students to slap a Muslim boy, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) vehemently condemns such actions that go against the fundamental values of inclusivity and harmony in our society said Mahesh Tapase the Chief Spokesperson of the party.The NCP spokesperson further said that it is deeply concerning to witness incidents of this nature in our educational institutions, where nurturing an environment of understanding and acceptance should be paramount. The NCP recognizes the importance of upholding the principles of secularism and unity, and we firmly believe that actions that promote discrimination or hatred based on caste, religion, or race have no place in our diverse and culturally rich nation.The NCP acknowledges the alarming rise in incidents that indicate a growing divide along caste and racial lines during the tenure of the Modi rule. Our social fabric is now facing significant challenges due to these divisive forces.
The NCP calls upon the government to take immediate and stringent measures to address such incidents, both within educational institutions and across society at large. It is imperative that educational institutions play a pivotal role in fostering an environment that nurtures tolerance, empathy, and unity among students of diverse backgrounds said Tapase.
