NCC’s Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp Ends at OTA Kamptee


Nagpur: The NCC Group Headquarters in Nagpur, under the NCC Maharashtra Directorate, Mumbai, held the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB-II) camp at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Kamptee from December 24, 2024, to January 4, 2025. A total of 600 NCC cadets from Maharashtra and Kerala & Lakshadweep participated in the event.

The goal of the camp was to highlight India’s rich diversity and promote unity among cadets. Group Captain Khushal Vyas, Group Commander of NCC Nagpur, welcomed the cadets and spoke about the importance of discipline and interaction for better cultural understanding.



Activities and LearningOver the 12 days, cadets participated in military training, cultural events, and trips to various locations. They visited landmarks like Sitabuldi Fort, Deekshabhoomi, Futala Lake, and Ambazari Lake. Cadets also toured Air Maintenance Command, Sonegaon Air Force Station, and the Guards Regimental Centre, learning about India’s military history.

Motivational TalksCadets attended motivational sessions by Dr. Hariom Gandhi, DIG of the NDRF Academy in Nagpur, who spoke about disaster management and the dangers of narcotics. Wing Commander Deepika Rao and other officers also inspired the cadets with talks on leadership and unity.



Camp FinaleThe camp concluded with a cultural program, showcasing the traditions of Maharashtra and Kerala. In his closing speech, Group Captain Vyas urged cadets to become ambassadors of unity and carry forward the message of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

This camp not only celebrated India’s diversity but also helped cadets develop leadership skills and a deeper understanding of the country’s culture and history.
