Mumbai, September 11, 2024 – Anil Mehta, the step-father of Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, has died by suicide after jumping from the sixth floor of a building in Mumbai. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday.
At the time of the incident, Malaika Arora was in Pune. Upon learning of the tragedy, she immediately traveled back to Mumbai. The Bandra Police and Crime Branch have arrived at the scene, but no suicide note has been found yet. It is reported that Anil Mehta had been ill for some time.
Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan, have visited Malaika Arora's home to offer their condolences and support during this difficult period.
