Western Railway has announced a major block for ongoing construction work on the 6th line between Goregaon and Kandivali stations. This block will affect train services during the night of 5th and 6th October 2024, as follows:
5th Line Block: From 11:00 PM (23:00 hrs) on 5th October to 9:00 AM (09:00 hrs) on 6th October.
UP Fast Line Block: From 11:00 PM (23:00 hrs) to 3:30 AM (03:30 hrs) on 6th October.
Changes to Train Services:
UP Fast Line Local Trains will run on the UP Slow line from Borivali to Andheri during the block.
Some suburban trains will be cancelled or short terminated. Please refer to station masters for details.
Key Train Alterations:
Train No. 94078 (Virar – Andheri Fast) departing Virar at 10:44 PM on 5th October will end its journey at Borivali.
Train No. 94079 (Andheri – Bhayandar Fast) departing Andheri at 11:55 PM on 5th October will start from Borivali.
Train No. 92001 (Borivali – Virar Local) will depart Borivali at 5:10 AM on 6th October instead of 4:42 AM.
Train No. 90004 (Borivali – Churchgate Local) will depart Borivali at 4:05 AM on 6th October instead of 3:50 AM.
All mail and express trains on the 5th line will run on the Down Fast line between Andheri and Borivali during this time.
