"INHS Asvini Successfully Undertakes Difficult Hip Surgery"


A 30 year old serving air warrior had arthroscopic osteotomy at INHS Asvini for femoroacetabular impingement and is now on the road to recovery with a hip that is pain-free.

Hip arthroscopy is a relatively uncommon, technically difficult, minimally invasive treatment that encourages quick patient mobilization and rehabilitation.

The sole center in the Armed Forces doing hip arthroscopic procedures is the orthopaedic center at INHS Asvini, which has long been at the forefront of groundbreaking work in the field.
