Mumbai, October 15,2024 Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan convened a comprehensive review meeting with various stakeholders from the Mumbai Suburban District at Raj Bhavan on October 14. The meeting brought together representatives from political parties, industries, tribal communities, minorities, Divyang sportspersons, artists, and social workers to discuss ongoing developmental projects and address community concerns.
During the session, senior officers from the Mumbai Suburban District and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) presented updates on key infrastructure projects and other initiatives aimed at improving the district's overall development. Representatives from the railways and MHADA were also present to provide insights on sector-specific developments.
The event saw the participation of several political leaders and dignitaries, including former Maharashtra Governor Ram Naik, MP Anil Desai, and MLA Anil Parab, who shared their perspectives on the progress and challenges faced by the region.
BMC Administrator Bhushan Gagrani, along with other officials, engaged in discussions on enhancing coordination between different departments to expedite the completion of projects and ensure their effective implementation.
Governor Radhakrishnan emphasized the importance of collaboration among all sectors to ensure inclusive development that benefits all sections of society. The meeting served as a platform for stakeholders to voice their concerns and offer suggestions on improving the district's infrastructure and welfare schemes.
