Mumbai, Shri OP Gupta, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) of the Maharashtra government, visited the NCC Directorate Maharashtra on May 14, 2024. Welcomed by ADG Maj Gen Yogender Singh, VSM, Shri Gupta interacted with NCC cadets, praising their dedication and the Directorate's recent string of victories in the Republic Day Parade.
During discussions, Shri Gupta addressed camp funding and manpower deficiencies, assuring streamlined funding for activities and proposing outsourcing solutions for staffing shortages. He lauded the informative visit, which included a video conference with the Combined Annual Training Camp in Akola.
