Mumbai ,A fire broke out in the Savera Heights building located on S.G. Barve Marg today at approximately 2:40 PM. The incident involved electric wiring and installations within the electric duct extending from the 4th to the 15th floor of the ground-plus-17-story structure.
The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) responded swiftly to the emergency, deploying a total of 8 fire units, including three fire engines, a turntable ladder, a hydraulic platform, and additional support vehicles. A 108 ambulance was also on site to attend to any potential casualties.
The fire was successfully extinguished by 3:06 PM, and initial reports indicate that three individuals were treated for smoke inhalation. The affected patients, identified as Anisha Hiwale (55), Ashok Hiwale (59), and Manisha Pathare (38), were transported to Rajawadi Hospital and are currently in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the damage to the building's electrical systems. Residents are urged to remain cautious as safety inspections continue in the aftermath of the incident.
