CSMT-Latur Weekly Special Train Services Introduced for Diwali Festival


In anticipation of the upcoming Diwali festival, the Indian Railways has announced the launch of weekly special train services between CSMT Mumbai and Latur. This service aims to accommodate the increased travel demand during the festive season.

Train Schedule:

  • Train Number 01105 will depart from CSMT Mumbai at 00:30 hrs every Saturday starting from October 19, 2024, until November 9, 2024. It is scheduled to arrive in Latur at 11:40 hrs the same day. This service will run a total of four trips.

  • Train Number 01106 will leave Latur at 16:30 hrs every Saturday, with departures from October 19, 2024, to November 9, 2024. It will arrive back at CSMT Mumbai at 04:10 hrs the following day, also operating four trips.



Halts along the Route: The trains will stop at several key stations, including:

  • Dadar

  • Thane

  • Kalyan

  • Lonavala

  • Pune

  • Uruli

  • Daund

  • Bhigwan

  • Jeur

  • Kem

  • Kurduwadi

  • Barsi Town

  • Osmanabad

  • Harangul

Train Composition: The special trains will comprise 2 AC-III Tier coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, and 8 Second Class coaches, including 2 Guard’s Brake Vans.

Reservation Details: Reservations for these special trains are already open at all computerized reservation centers and can also be booked online through the IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in. Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance to secure their travel plans during the busy festive season.
