Today, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde paid tribute to India's first Bharat Ratna Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. On the date of Pandit Nehru's birth anniversary, Children's Day is also observed.
Mr. Prime Minister Shinde offered floral tributes to Pandit Nehru's monument at Varsha Government Residence on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Pandit Nehru was also received by MLA Dilipmama Lande, former MLA Ravindra Phatak, Vijay Shivtare, Dr. Deepak Sawant, Abhijit Adsul, and others.
