WESTERN RAILWAY
On Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 15 p.m., a Jumbo Block of five hours will be in effect on the UP and DOWN FAST lines between Santacruz and Goregaon station for maintenance work on the rails, signalling, and overhead equipment.
All UP and DOWN fast-line trains would be run on slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon station during the block time, according to a press statement issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway. Some Borivali trains will travel all the way to Goregaon station. Throughout the block, a few suburban trains will remain cancelled.

CENTRAL RAILWAY
On October 15, 2023, the Mumbai Division of Central Railway will run Mega Block on its suburban portions for the 5th and 6th Lines while doing various engineering and maintenance tasks.
5th and 6th Lines on Thane-Kalyan from 01:00 to 04:00
Express trains and Up and Down Mail are diverted.
The 6th and 5th lines' UP and Down Mail Express trains will be diverted. Between KYN and TNA stations, there is a through queue and a down-through queue that will delay travellers' arrival by 10 to 15 minutes.
Chunabhatti/Bandra - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up harbour line from 11.10 a.m. to 4.10 p.m. and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus hunabhatti/B Bandra DN harbour line from 11.40 a.m. to 4.40 p.m.
The Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon and Vashi/Belapur/Panvel departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai and Vadala Road from 11.16 a.m. to 4.47 p.m. and 10.48 a.m. to 4.43 p.m., respectively, would remain stopped.
Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai departing Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 a.m. to 3.20 p.m. and departing Goregaon/Bandra from 10.45 a.m. to 5.13 p.m. will not operate during these times.
However, during the block time, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No. 8).
During block time, passengers on the Harbour Line are allowed to travel on the Main Line and Western Railway from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Starting tonight, or Friday and Saturday, October 13 and 14, 2023, stabling will be done in accordance with the schedule. At Panvel, all 12 rakes will be housed (10 in the stabling sidings and 2 on the platform). The Harbour Line and Trans Harbour Line's suburban services will operate according to schedule.
For the maintenance and security of the infrastructure, the maintenance megablock is necessary. The Railway Administration kindly asks that passengers understand the inconvenience.
