Mumbai, October 18, 2024: Central Railway has announced special night traffic and power blocks to reconstruct the Carnac Road Over Bridge (ROB) between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Masjid stations. These blocks will occur on the nights of October 18-19 and October 19-20, 2024, from 12:30 AM to 3:30 AM.
Train Service Impact
During these block times, suburban train services will be affected:
Main Line:
Trains will not run between Byculla and CSMT.
Services will be short terminated or will start from Byculla station.
Last local train from CSMT to Karjat departs at 12:12 AM; first train leaves at 4:47 AM.
Last train from Dombivli to CSMT departs at 10:48 PM; first train from Karjat leaves at 3:23 AM.
Harbour Line:
No trains will run between Vadala Road and CSMT.
Last local train from CSMT to Panvel leaves at 12:13 AM; first train leaves at 4:52 AM.
Last train from Panvel to CSMT departs at 10:46 PM.
Mail/Express Train Changes
Several Mail and Express trains will be short terminated at Dadar station, including:
Howrah-CSMT Express on October 18
Madgaon-CSMT Express on October 18 and 19
Amritsar-CSMT Express on October 17 and 18
Madgaon-CSMT Express on October 18 and 19
No Mega Block on October 20
Passengers will be pleased to know there will be no mega block on the main line on Sunday, October 20, 2024, allowing regular train services to continue without interruption.
