Bharat Pavilion Inaugurated at 77th Cannes Film Festival



Today, the Bharat Pavilion was inaugurated at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, showcasing India's cinematic excellence. Led by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, and spearheaded by the National Film Development Corporation, the pavilion highlights India's commitment to global cinema collaboration. The grand ceremony was attended by dignitaries and filmmakers, emphasizing India's growing presence on the international stage. States like Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra are promoting their filming incentives and scenic locales. This year, three Indian films shot through India's Film Facilitation Office have been shortlisted, showcasing India's diverse storytelling. The Bharat Pavilion aims to foster networking and discussions, showcasing the best of Indian cinema to the world.
