Mumbai: In a tragic incident, a 26-year-old man lost his life after falling from a local train near Mumbra station on Monday morning. The man, identified as Zubair Ahmed, was traveling on a Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)-bound train when the accident occurred.

According to reports, Zubair Ahmed, a resident of Samrat Nagar in Mumbra, was heading to Byculla, where he ran a footwear manufacturing workshop. During the rush hour, the overcrowded train led to him losing his balance and falling off the train, resulting in his death.

The Mumbra railway station is known for heavy crowding, especially during peak hours, which often leads to such unfortunate accidents. The rising number of fatalities on this route due to overcrowding is a growing concern for commuters and authorities alike.
